Coronavirus Vs Educational Pressure

An english translation by me  of what my friend Vivekananda HK had written in Kannada

Education ministers, education departments, educational institutions ........

There is a lot of media out there today that is projecting   you will routinely or frequently conducts SSLC - PUC exam,  now we run, after the lockdown is over.  Children are equally confused. This is not a good move.

Why just postpone this for a week or two as a lockdown? It takes at least two months to recover from the current situation. If that were the case, then the coronavirus drug or vaccine would need more time to reach the common man  post production and it has to adhere to the norms set by the medical council  and test results for human application produce it.

Even when we know why are we talking about exams again and again?

Material status should be checked at least after June 15. Until then, children should not be subjected to exam pressure. They should be allowed to spend some time at home. May be they happily engage in other creative and dynamic activities.

If all goes well, you can conduct exams in the first week of July and get the results by the end of July. And let the admission to educational institutions start on August 15 onwards.

Also, drop the next academic year by 8 months instead of 10 months and let the syllabus be a bit shorter. What the world does not sink. The next Dussera and Christmas holidays can be shortened.

Yes, there is heavy pressure from private institutions. Due to children admissions getting lesser or not coming to schools, their financial situation worsens. Salaries for teachers and other staff can be difficult. What to do. The whole country's economy is collapsing in the current situation. There is no alternate for education system.

Coronavirus can be dangerous if tested before the drug is invented. Parents are also hesitant to send children. Academic education is hardly important at this time of crisis. Developing a strong mental personality is important. Let every engage in this activity to strengthen their children.

Perhaps the climate for paying donation for nursery schools may change. The demand for educational institutes of the simplest kind of natural environment may increase.
Admission to government schools can also increase. The country's GDP may fall to 1.5% as of today's estimates. That means that the financial situation for most of us will certainly worsen. Unemployment is haunting. Providing basic necessities can be difficult.

In addition, education institutions, including the Minister of Education, can use teachers to promote coronary awareness if necessary, and most importantly, educators should use agriculture, its market and small-scale advice to farmers. What's more, the rainy season begins. Care should be taken to prevent shortage of food grains. Education is another story.... if no meals, nothing will be of use.

So please postpone this school exam and everything related to it for at least two months.....
